License Agreement

All materials published in the Journal Art and Design are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution International Licence (CC BY).
This licence allows others to freely share, copy, distribute, and adapt the material for any lawful purpose, provided that proper credit is given to the original author(s) and the source of publication.


Acceptance of the Agreement

Submission of a manuscript to the Editorial Office constitutes the author’s full acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Licence Agreement presented below.
By submitting materials for publication, the author formally confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these licensing conditions in their entirety.


Author’s Declaration

By submitting a manuscript, the author certifies that the material:

  1. Does not infringe any copyright or other intellectual property rights of third parties, individuals, or organisations.
  2. Has not been previously published in any other journal, publisher, or collection.
  3. Has not been simultaneously submitted for consideration or publication elsewhere.

The author bears full legal responsibility for the originality and authorship of the submitted work.


Rights Retained by the Author

The author retains all moral and economic rights to their work, including the right to be recognised as its creator and to reuse the material in future publications or collections, provided that the journal is cited as the source of first publication.


Rights Granted to the Publisher

By accepting the Agreement, the author grants the Publisher (Licensee) the right of first publication of the submitted material under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) licence.
Within the scope of this licence, the Publisher is authorised to:

  • Publish the article in English and distribute printed copies.
  • Translate manuscripts submitted in Ukrainian into English and distribute the printed version of the translation.
  • Disseminate electronic versions of both the original article and its English translation via any electronic means, including:
    • the official journal website,
    • electronic databases,
    • institutional or public repositories,
    • and other recognised scholarly communication platforms.

Mandatory Citation and Linking

When reusing, quoting, or sharing published materials, a bibliographic reference to the article and/or a hyperlink to its official version on the journal’s website is compulsory.
This ensures correct attribution, academic transparency, and compliance with the CC BY licence requirements.

Privacy Statement

Names and email addresses provided to the journal are used solely for editorial purposes and are not disclosed to third parties.

Personal data collected from registered and unregistered users are processed in accordance with standard practices of peer-reviewed scholarly publishing. Such data are used to maintain communication throughout the editorial workflow and to ensure accurate attribution of authorship and editorial contributions.

Authors are responsible for safeguarding the personal data of individuals involved in their research. The Editorial Board adheres to professional confidentiality standards and complies with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including data-subject rights relating to breach notification, access, erasure, data portability, and privacy by design.

The GDPR also acknowledges the public interest in the availability of scientific data, which supports the integrity and transparency of the scholarly record.
